Reviews: Real Guns Shooting Experience in Wanaka, Queenstown, New Zealand [Multiple timeslot available + ammunition included]

The receptionist was a Taiwanese girl who spoke Mandarin. The first step was to watch a safety video and sign an agreement, then put on earmuffs. My child is 9 years old and shouldn't be shooting with a double-shot 22mm shotgun, but this wasn't mentioned beforehand until the instructor at the shooting range told me that we would be shooting at a directional target with a two-round gun. Actually, children should be 10 years or older to participate, but the official website states it's for 7 years and older for profit. The shooting experience was good; it's purely a tourist attraction marketed to Chinese tourists. It's a 1 hour 15-20 minute drive from Queenstown and a 15-minute drive from Wanaka to the entrance. From the entrance, you drive into a private valley on a gravel road for about 3 minutes to reach the entrance.

Originally visited Wildwire in December, returned with mum and dad. Second time round, even more awesome! We met out guide, Dolce, harnessed up then in to a training boulder before beginning the climb. Very relaxed pace, the views were awesome and the route second to none. Dolce is absolutely amazing - one of the best guides, very supportive of dad who just did the first level, and celebrated the rest of the group throughout the trip. Also, a shoutout to Yasmin - thanks for all the help organising this trip! Thanks again Wildwire!

Fantastic adventure with Sam through a beautiful property of rugged terrain. Great views and narration. We did it in the rain which gave the ride even more fun. Thanks for the great time. Highly recommend this outdoor adventure.
