I really had a good time with Master Yan with car 车牌13H10. He was helpful starting from our pick-up at the hotel, explaining what I had to do during the trip. He was very polite, respectful and helpful. Even if we didn't speak Chinese he translated for us at the main location so we know how to proceed. He even bought us dried fruits to taste the local flavors★

Excellent excursion with guide Jiang Bao and driver Zhang Xiaohong (vehicle 22241). They were very helpful since we were the only foreigners in an all-Chinese group and didn't speak the language. Excellent organization. The sandwich for dinner and the stargazing stop were also very welcome. Highly recommended.★

There was quite a commotion because I lost my camera, but I was so grateful to our guide for going around everywhere with me to look for it and asking around, even though they couldn't even enjoy a relaxing lunch. Although we couldn't find the camera in the end... the people in the same group brought us snacks, so it didn't feel like a miserable day. It is a truly fulfilling tour that runs from morning until late at night. Every place was great, but the place where we stargazed at night is the most memorable. The stars were pouring down, almost enough to see the Milky Way! Since there are so many wonderful places and the travel distances are long, I think it is a good idea to spend at least one day in Dunhuang on a tour like this.★

Despite the tight schedule, I was able to comfortably visit several places. Although I didn't see any stars, I packed the time from 8 AM to 10:30 PM. I liked the Yangguan the best, as it was the first place I saw, but I didn't particularly like the strict restrictions on private viewing. Getting on and off the shuttle bus meant I had limited time to appreciate the scenery. Still, if I had done the tour on my own, I wouldn't have been able to visit everything. The driver was also very kind and helpful!
