Although it is an English tour guide, the explanation is very clear, the content is detailed, the itinerary is compact, and it is not delayed. The tour guide does not say a word or a lot of words. Shafiq, the guide, has a wonderful sense of humor! He's brilliant. He explained so many things to us, even during the ride, related to Scottish history, in a very interesting and engaging way. The tour is well-organized: it leaves precisely at 8:15 am and is spread across several stops. There are plenty of opportunities to pick up souvenirs, stop for a swim, or stop for a hot drink. Lunch is served around 2:30 pm in a wonderful village. I recommend comfortable shoes and rain gear. Within 10 minutes, it could be sunny or pouring with rain, but as the Scots say: there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing! The road is a little tricky in places, if you're sensitive like me, but nothing impossible.

Scott the guide was a real pleasure. Absolute top class. If you went to university for a couple of years to study Scottish history, you might end up knowing half as much as he does … Great tour, and well worth the money.


