I scheduled this trip for our group of four. It did seem expensive when we booked it but all four of us said it was 100% worth the cost. Our tour guide Val was very friendly and knowledgeable and she made sure that we were all comfortable for the duration of the trip. Unfortunately I cannot give her credit for the absolutely perfect weather that we had, but I wish I could! The van ride was very comfortable with good visibility from the seats. The sunset and view and being with the observatories at the summit was an otherworldly experience that I will never forget. The dark night sky was so full of stars it was incredible. Both Val and the other Van leader, Tay, gave us a nice scientific presentation of some a few views at through their telescope as well as the mythology behind the constellations and how to Navigate with stars. I highly recommend this to a clear night.
