I had many booking channels, but ultimately chose Ctrip because their Black Diamond membership makes communication easier with any issues. The visit itself was fine; three hours was about right—just enough time to experience and see what the glacier was like. It was pretty good, and the photos turned out quite well.

It was a truly wonderful experience. The local guide was friendly and fully expert on glaciers and driving the jeep. This is a must-do tour when visiting Iceland.

We had a great time! The guides went above and beyond as firstly we arrived early hoping to join the earlier tour which luckily there were space so we was able to do and at the 2 hour mark we were meant to head back but unfortunately hadn't seen any whales. They then had a call to say whales had been spotted and so we stayed out an hour longer and had a great time watching the whales!

This is a long trip - 14 hours - but it is well worth it. You get to see the South of the island and the tour includes some jaw dropping sites like Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park. It included stops at nightfall too and we saw the Northern Lights. Very knowledgeable guide. Only negative was stops at sites were short but it was very cold - your hands go numb. Bring hand warmers and wrap up warm as this area has its own climate which is very cold and windy during Dec / Jan. AMAZING

Our guide, Gary, did his best to visit two aurora spots and was very friendly to the tour participants. He also provided detailed instructions on camera settings. Although we didn't see the aurora on the day of the tour, he explained how to request a reschedule with the company (Get Your Guide), which allowed us to quickly receive a free voucher for the desired date.
