We had an excellent English-speaking tour guide (Ilya), who was very knowledgeable on the history of the Netherlands, Amsterdam and the countryside villages we visited. Beautiful countryside and historical buildings for great photos. The cheese tasting and trying on wooden clogs in Edam was fascinating and fun. Our lunch and walk around in Valendam was amazing but a bit too short. We enjoyed visiting the town of Marken and its history of the 1916 flooding (similar to New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina) that killed thousands and left the town devastated. We highly recommend the tour.
