It was a good trip and I enjoyed it very much. The guide was easy going, friendly and knowledgeable. I would absolutely go on other trips with this company. The only negative would be the restaurant we went to in Gori (Terrace Gori), I advice you to stay away from there (just check google reviews). Still, I recommend this trip!

Amazing guide Mikho made this day exceptionally memorable and fun! From the moment we set off, the scenery was breathtaking — rolling mountains, ancient monasteries, and charming villages that felt frozen in time. Mikho was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about Georgian history, culture, and traditions, which made every stop meaningful. We’ve ended up singing Georgian song on the way back to Tbilisi! Super fun!

Our guide Tota was exceptional. Very knowledgeable about History, Architecture, Religion. It was a long day from Tbilisi but absolutely worth it. The highlight for me was the Stalin Museum and Jvari Monastery. The tour was unrushed and we had a lovely meal in Gori consisting of an array of various different Georgian dishes. The group that was on my tour (about 18 in total) were mostly lovely, the minivan was slightly cramped - that was my only slight issue. However, all in all, I would rate this tour 5 stars from 5. Would absolutely recommend this trip with GYG/Gamarjoba Tours.


