Reviews: Netherlands Giethoorn 1-day tour [Small group of 8 people/Chinese/English options + cruise experience]
Guest User2025-06-21
When I first started planning my trip, I read some posts from other travelers and thought I could go on my own. However, when I checked public transportation in Giethoorn, I realized it wasn't practical, as it would take up most of the day to travel. So, I booked a day tour instead, which was honestly a bit pricey. However, the tour and experience were fantastic. The bus driver explained Dutch history and geography along the way to Giethoorn, and also introduced the main attractions and buildings we saw. It was definitely worth booking the tour (by the way, sit on the right side of the bus, as most of the attractions mentioned are on the right). Giethoorn is definitely worth a visit; the houses and water of the entire village create a unique, beautiful, and tranquil scene.

A fantastic travel experience! Director Deng was incredibly patient and responsible, providing us with a comprehensive explanation of the local culture, geography, history, food, and language. The time management was also excellent, with ample time at each stop. I would give it a perfect score of 100!
Reviews: Exploring the Dutch countryside: Zaanse Schans windmill village + Edam + Volendam + Marken from Amsterdam
Guest User2026-07-08
It was a very worthwhile day. Besides Zaanse Schans windmill village, it was great to visit Edam, Holendam, and Marken, places that are difficult to get to on your own. Since it was a full day, we were able to enjoy each place at a leisurely pace. Lunch was flexible and we had plenty of time. Apparently, the guide can take you to a restaurant if you wish. We spotted a restaurant that looked like it served delicious mussels, so we went in. It was an excellent choice! A huge amount of fresh and delicious mussels were served. Eating mussels while gazing at the sea was fantastic. This tour lets you experience a different side of the Netherlands than Amsterdam. I highly recommend it to anyone with the time.
