Booking Chiang Mai culinary experiences through Trip.com is very convenient. Simply select your favorite culinary school and you can check the booking status, saving you the time of repeated selections. This time I participated in the Thai food experience of Chiang Mai Mother’s Chinese Class, which is perfect for those who like Thai food! The overall experience was great and smooth from start to finish. - Pick-up service: Pick up at the hotel on time and send you directly back to the hotel on the return trip, which is very convenient - Strolling the market: The teacher introduced local specialty vegetables and spices, although the pace was slightly faster, but there was time for us to stroll around and buy snacks - Small vegetable garden: Will visit the school's vegetable garden, learn about various fresh spices, and see two big turtles, can feed him cabbage - Cooking time: The ingredients are well prepared, from cutting vegetables, pounding spices to actually putting the pot, step by step to follow, a sense of accomplishment - Tasting time: After completing the three dishes, everyone sits down to enjoy, the teacher will also teach Thai milk tea and mango glutinous rice, while eating while exchanging travel experiences, the atmosphere is good. Recommended for those who like Thai cuisine and are interested in spices!

They sent an email the day before departure with the meeting time and provided hotel pick-up and drop-off. Overall, the experience was good, and the price was reasonable at just over NT$800. It was a very fun experience, and the instructor spoke Chinese.

This is my favorite tour during my trip to Chiang Mai. The atmosphere of the tour is peaceful throughout. There was one participant and I made friends. The cooking teacher's personality was cheerful and entertained us. The cameraman took a lot of good pictures.

The place where we learned to cook Thai food was about a 30-minute drive from the old city. The courtyard was beautiful and picturesque, giving a relaxing feeling. It was divided into a planting area and a teaching area, making it perfect for a family outing. The teacher led us on a tour of the farm, introducing us to some common Thai ingredients, such as Thai ginger, turmeric, eggplant with eggs, and wrinkled lemons… Afterwards, they took us to the chicken coop to feed the chickens. It was the child's first time feeding chickens with fresh chili peppers, haha… Each “chef” could take an egg from the coop to make stir-fried noodles. Before starting to cook, we could choose our dishes according to our tastes and dietary restrictions: three main dishes (soup, rice, and stir-fried noodles) + a drink and a dessert. My husband chose Tom Yum soup, red curry rice, and shrimp stir-fried noodles, along with iced lemon tea and mango sticky rice. My child chose coconut milk soup, Northern Thai coffee noodles, and chicken stir-fried noodles, with Thai milk tea as the drink and mango sticky rice as dessert. After each dish was finished, I immediately savored the fruits of my labor. The sense of accomplishment combined with the warmth of the food created a feeling of happiness—it was truly wonderful. The portions were generous, and the taste was excellent. Homemade food is definitely the most delicious.

It was a very fun experience! First, we went to the market to learn about various spices and the seasonings used in Thai cuisine. The instructors explained things clearly and humorously. After arriving at the cooking school, we visited a vegetable garden. The entire area was quite large, with adorable dogs and thoughtful decorations. Don't forget to spray mosquito repellent to avoid insect bites! The garden introduced many plants and spices, and we could even smell their aromas. The cooking classes were clear and concise, with ingredients prepared before cooking. After three dishes, everyone ate together. The portions were quite large; some women might not be able to finish them. After lunch, we learned how to make mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea, which was very interesting. Finally, we were given recipes for each dish. Highly recommended! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻


