The experience was excellent. We first arrived at Dongna Island Bay, took a boat trip on the Black Water River, and then hiked around the island. The scenery was beautiful. Luckily, it started raining as soon as we returned to the visitor center—a really heavy rain with strong winds and large drops. All the boats were stopped, and the driver told us they didn't resume service until our return trip from Detian Waterfall in the afternoon. It was quite a distance to Detian Waterfall, and by the time we arrived, it was just a light drizzle. To get to the waterfall, you need to go to the visitor center to take the shuttle bus. Along the way, you can see Vietnam across the river. Detian Waterfall is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend spending a few tens of yuan to take a boat down to the waterfall. The scene is spectacular, a completely different experience from just standing on the side. Our driver, Mr. Liang, was a steady and knowledgeable driver, and very talkative. He added a lot to this short trip.

It was a wonderful experience. I am especially grateful for the professional and meticulous service of Director Zeng (who also served as my photographer). We ate Shuji Laoyou Rice Noodles, strolled around Qingxiu Mountain (the greenery is excellent and the scenery is superb), and had dinner at the old-established Wanguo Restaurant. After dinner, we visited Xiguan Road Night Market and experienced some of the unique attractions and streets in Nanning. I am also especially grateful to driver Mr. Chen for his patience and seamless connections, which made our wait time zero.
