This trip was absolutely amazing. Toshogu Shrine is a World Heritage Site. Unlike typical Japanese aesthetics, it is resplendent and extremely luxurious, conveying behavioral principles through sculptures. The most famous is the use of monkeys to represent Confucius's teachings: "Do not look at what is improper, do not listen to what is improper, do not speak what is improper." Kegon Waterfall is crystal clear, its spray like shattered jade. Lake Chuzenji is serene and breathtaking, reminiscent of Switzerland. The Irohazaka Slope is thrilling and unforgettable. Our guide, Zhao, has superb driving skills, navigating corners with impeccable smoothness, comparable to a racing legend.

It was so lovely! Our guide Tina was very knowledgeable and friendly and the tour overall well organised. Not too packed either so we could enjoy the different stops sufficiently

Melody and Kikuchisan were amazing. Melody was super knowledgeable about life in Japan. She spent a good amount of time chatting to us about useful info for where we were going but also just Japanese culture and useful phrases. She really went above and beyond.

I've booked a day trip to this attraction twice over the years, only to be informed the day before the trip that the group couldn't form and had to be refunded. This time, the itinerary was adjusted for Friday, and I successfully booked it again at 9:50 PM. I contacted the tour guide promptly and arrived at the pick-up point early Saturday morning. The itinerary was tight, but thankfully, the minibus was half Chinese and half English, so everyone could understand. Everyone was very punctual, and despite the drizzle, the visit was still very rewarding. The tour guide and driver were both very dedicated and had a good rapport, leaving a positive overall impression.
