You must buy this if you go to Switzerland to make your life easier... just choose the train anytime without having to buy a ticket, especially if you have a very limited schedule, because buying tickets also takes time.

Amazing, our tour guide was the best, had a lot of info. The views were covered by the fog but still amazing.
Reviews: From Zurich: Bus Day Trip to Heidiland and Liechtenstein
Guest User2026-03-29
This was a day well spent. We started with an in-bus tour of Zurich, which was a nice introduction, and then continued to a nice medieval village. Since it was cold and snowing, we didn’t expect Heidiland to be open, but it was, and it turned out to be lovely (CHF 12.5 per person). Based on previous reviews, we were prepared for a rushed visit, which helped set our expectations. At the end, we visited Liechtenstein. It’s a very small capital with not much to see unless you plan to walk up to the castle, so there was quite a bit of free time. Still, we were happy to get a passport stamp (CHF 3 per person, cash only—they accept CHF, EUR, or USD). Overall, the landscapes were beautiful, the drive was smooth, and the guide was knowledgeable and funny.
Reviews: Swiss Half Fare Card [Valid for 1 month/50% off Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe/Instant ticket issuance/Half-price tickets for Swiss trains and museums in 90 cities]

Definitely recommended if your Switzerland trip is a couple of weeks as train travel is the way to go over there. It’s so convenient purchasing it at Trip.com and the tickets are emailed almost immediately. Be sure to print it out or keep it in your phone as conductors do check your half fare card almost every time. Note that you can purchase attractions like the gornergrat train and the first gondola at half off too.
Reviews: Zurich Walking Tour With Cruise and Aerial Cable Car

This tour was exactly what we were looking to do to explore Zurich in 1 day. The tour lasted about 6 hours from start to finish. We began just outside the Zurich train station around 10 am and then we ended it around a little after 4 pm inside the same train station. Our tour guide was Greg and he did a phenomenal job leading us throughout this day tour. Greg was incredibly knowledgeable and he taught us a lot about Zurich and Switzerland in general so big props to him for doing such a great job taking care of our group through the day. The things we did on this day tour included walking around Zurich to points of interest such the Polyterrasse by the ETH Zurich campus for some skyline views, walking through Old Town, and also walking to see Zurich iconic buildings such as the St. Peter’s Church. This walk of Zurich lasted a few hours until about 12 where we had a short lunch break for 30 minutes before we headed off to take our boat cruise of Lake Zurich. The cruise was fantastic and a relaxing ride that lasted about 40 to 45 minutes, certainly the gorgeous weather we had during the day helped make our experience all the more enjoyable. Lastly after the cruise we used a bus and train to make our way to the Felsenegg vantage point up in the mountains for some amazing views of Zurich and Lake Zurich before we took the train back to the Zurich central train station to end the tour. Highly recommended tour, our group had a great time and once again Greg was a fantastic guide! Definitely do this tour when you’re visiting Zurich! - Nolan
