Booking Chiang Mai culinary experiences through Trip.com is very convenient. Simply select your favorite culinary school and you can check the booking status, saving you the time of repeated selections. This time I participated in the Thai food experience of Chiang Mai Mother’s Chinese Class, which is perfect for those who like Thai food! The overall experience was great and smooth from start to finish. - Pick-up service: Pick up at the hotel on time and send you directly back to the hotel on the return trip, which is very convenient - Strolling the market: The teacher introduced local specialty vegetables and spices, although the pace was slightly faster, but there was time for us to stroll around and buy snacks - Small vegetable garden: Will visit the school's vegetable garden, learn about various fresh spices, and see two big turtles, can feed him cabbage - Cooking time: The ingredients are well prepared, from cutting vegetables, pounding spices to actually putting the pot, step by step to follow, a sense of accomplishment - Tasting time: After completing the three dishes, everyone sits down to enjoy, the teacher will also teach Thai milk tea and mango glutinous rice, while eating while exchanging travel experiences, the atmosphere is good. Recommended for those who like Thai cuisine and are interested in spices!

I lived in Thailand for 2 years and have now come back two times and each time I have done cooking the classes. They have all been very enjoyable. This is my first time doing a tingly cooking class and it was excellent. Our instructor, Chau (sp) was super fun and very easy to understand. We're going back next week with our friends whom we're sure will love it too!

Easy to find. Spacious parking. Very friendly keepers. The feeding activity was fun for both adults and children. Capybaras were timid but cute. Very good experience.

[Met eight friends, the best meal I had in Thailand] Five-star review Early in the morning, a young lady gave us baskets and led us to the market. The teacher was explaining things. The teacher let us taste green mangoes and plums, and took us to buy coconut flakes. He explained the vegetables to us, but I didn't understand a word, just listened excitedly and tried to understand. He also introduced various spicy and non-spicy curries, which smelled so good! Then we went to buy leafy greens, but I couldn't tell them apart. I was completely immersed in the novelty and excitement of grocery shopping. Looking at all the fresh produce at the market, everything was so new. Then we went back to the kitchen classroom. Before making the soup, we squeezed coconut juice, added water, and kneaded the coconut flakes like dough, then poured out the juice. We sat down at the long rectangular table for the first lesson. I didn't understand the ingredients, but I understood it was to make Tom Yum soup. I was a little excited but a little worried about the spiciness. Introducing the ingredients was so interesting! The teacher was very friendly, always smiling as he spoke. He introduced three types of ginger and had us pass the vegetables around to smell and touch them. I loved this part, I loved the atmosphere of serious learning and focus. First, add water, then pepper and other spices. Then add mushrooms and corn? Then add chili peppers, and finally shrimp. The longer it cooks, the more fragrant it becomes—it's mouthwatering! The teacher even took turns taking photos of us while we were cooking. I love the teacher so much; she understands us so well! After finishing the first dish, sitting down at the table and smelling that sour and spicy aroma was so satisfying! I was so happy! The second dish was Pad Thai, Thai stir-fried rice noodles. Again, we were introduced to the ingredients and passed around the ingredients. This dish smelled amazing! The third dish was green curry chicken, which was incredibly delicious! This dish was the result of teamwork. After learning about the ingredients, the teacher started assigning tasks to each of us. I was responsible for chopping small onions—I cried! Later, I also had to smash the chili peppers, onions, eggplants, and other ingredients in the bowl. They were so fresh! Everyone started interacting more. A Western man even thoughtfully reminded me to protect the bowl and be careful not to splash any on my face. Everyone started smiling at each other. While cooking the green curry chicken, the aroma was already incredibly rich and mouthwatering. When I added coconut juice, I felt completely captivated. As soon as I finished, I declared that this would definitely be the best dish! When we sat down to eat, the kind Western couple started chatting with us. When asked which dish was their favorite, everyone said this one or the Pad Thai. The green curry chicken was absolutely delicious! It was a bit spicy, but manageable, and the coconut juice was incredibly rich and flavorful. The teacher smiled and came downstairs to call us up. Each seat at the long table had a bamboo hat – a delightful surprise! The teacher explained that he started this cooking school because he noticed many people weren't very good at Thai cooking. He was incredibly patient throughout, and you could tell he genuinely loved cooking and was happy to teach us. In the end, he even gave us the recipe! We loved him so much! Later, we started chatting about our upcoming trip and experiences in Thailand. Everyone was so friendly, and we finally joined the conversation. Downstairs, we showered the teacher with compliments and even met a Chinese-speaking tour guide who came to talk to us. We asked her to tell the teacher we wanted to praise him, and he laughed shyly.

What a fun and engaging experience! In the morning class, the teacher took us to the market to learn about different Thai ingredients, shared interesting facts about Thai cooking, and gave us ten minutes to shop freely. If you encountered any problems at the market, you could ask Teacher June – she's incredibly kind and helpful. Back at school, the staff had prepared all the necessary tools, along with ice water and refreshments – so thoughtful! The cooking process was enjoyable; with only eight people in the class, you'll definitely be well taken care of, so don't worry about failing. Highly recommend coming!

They sent an email the day before departure with the meeting time and provided hotel pick-up and drop-off. Overall, the experience was good, and the price was reasonable at just over NT$800. It was a very fun experience, and the instructor spoke Chinese.
