It's a beautiful island, but the food is a bit pricey. Remember to buy a Sheraton dining discount card before you go; it must be in your own name to be valid. Hehe.

I went on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, and there were quite a few guests. Changing lockers were in short supply; four people used three lockers. The changing room floor had a lot of water stains and signs of human activity, and wasn't cleaned promptly. It seems the scenic area was overloaded. The hot spring water temperature was well controlled, and the shortage of changing lockers didn't reflect the large number of people bathing in the hot springs. It wasn't crowded like a dumpling-filled stadium. The various supposed additional functions of the hot spring pools weren't apparent; the flavors all tasted pretty much the same—basically ginseng, angelica, and mint, which needs improvement. The underfloor heating area was a novel idea, but the wooden structure was a bit drafty. It was cold! Buying tickets online is definitely worthwhile; apparently, buying tickets at nearby restaurants is even better. I didn't go to the rest area, so I can't comment on that. Overall, I was satisfied with the trip.
