I tried to book a Shinkansen ticket in advance on the official website, but it didn't work unless it was in English. Seats are automatically assigned. Even though I'd already made all my reservations, when I tried to check my reservation on the official website, it said there were no reservations. And when I went to get my paper ticket, the automatic ticket machine said it couldn't find my reservation for some reason. It was fine because I was able to get my ticket at the ticket counter, but it did worry me a bit.★

Highly recommend purchasing this for Taiwan trip. Easy to install with just the button in the app, then arrival in Taipei, just switch on in phone settings. Immediate connection with strong 5G. Works very well even underground in the metro or high up in the mountains of Maokong, or even at the seaside of Yehliu. Nonstop connection. Super worth it.
