Quaint
We arrived 5am to catch our 6am train ride. It was dark and cold. The area where I was hoping to get a train station stamp was closed (sad face). The waiting area was soooo cold I didnt know if I shou...
Each station in JR Hokkaido had a unique impression. Above all, this "Niseko Station" was a Western-style building with a beautiful appearance as if it had come to Europe. Immediately after entering, there was this tourist center on the right. I entered because I wanted to get a map. Since the season was October, "pumpkins" were displayed everywhere, probably because it was a local specialty. There were a lot of local women's associations 々 and they were drawing sketch paintings toward the canvas. It certainly becomes a picture.
If you visit Niseko, I recommend this place. Although it is a JR station building, you can enter it freely on the platform, and there is also a guide pamphlet inside, so it is perfect for looking for a tourist destination. Isn't it a window of Niseko?
It is on your left after exiting the ticket gate. You can find tourist maps and pamphlets of Niseko and surrounding areas. There are many English pamphlets, which is a proof that they are popular as an international tourist destination. Niseko Station has a triangular roof building and gives you a fairy tale impression. There was a well-maintained poetry circle in front of the station.
