Shri Mankameshwar Mandir

The temple of Shri Mankameshwar in Agra is one of the ancient temples dedicated to the god Shiva, close to the train station of Agra Fort. One must descend a few steps to reach the sanctuary. Devotees must wear traditional Indian costumes such as Dhoti or Saree to enter the temple. Shiva Linga is said to be covered in silver metal, which was founded by the Lord himself in Davapala's time.
