路線バスで近くの男山酒造まで出かけたので徒歩圏内のこちらにもお邪魔しました。 家具の街旭川でのショウルームの集合体のような施設です。 古くからタンス類の箱物産地だったが箱物は廃れてしまってきたため椅子やテーブル類の足物に生産をシフトしているそうです。 地場の産業育成に力を入れているようで旭川の魅力に触れる事ができます。

Asahikawa furniture is nice. In addition to various design furniture in each workshop, there are also small wooden accessories, so it's fun just to look at them. Access is along the national highway, but is it a pachinko shop around? There are car dealers, etc., and it is not very noticeable, so be careful when going from the Asahikawa Kita Interchange.

I call myself a design center, but since it is a showroom with no museum-like elements such as explanations of Asahikawa furniture and introductions of masterpieces of furniture, I think it is not worth going for people outside Hokkaido. .

I visited with my partner to see the wooden furniture of Asahikawa. The furniture that makes use of solid wood is nice, but I thought the detailed design of the furniture was exceptional.
