LawrenzoHigh up over Salzburg you get an amazing view over the city and the snowcapped mountains on the other side. The panoramic tower you get an amazing 360 view. Unfortunately I was walking around inside when the weather was clear, and when I finished the fortress inside, which was very interesting btw, it started to snow heavily and we couldn't see very far on the tower. It says it's free to visit the palace but there's really only one staircase and a small room you can see and it's not marked out. I think it's mainly used for concerts.
