Ferto / Neusiedlersee Cultural Landscape

Located at the junction of Hungary and Austria, it is wide and has bicycle lanes. Since it was the sea in ancient times, the lake was salty, but it had not become a salt lake, so hundreds of birds lived here. We took the guide and saw some cherished birds with our telescopes. Many bird specimens are also displayed in the visitor center.

The lake Felt on the border of Hungary and Austria is listed as a World Heritage Site. Some belong to Hungary and the other belongs to Austria . So it has two names, Hungary is called Felt Lake and Austria is called Lake New Side. In summer, you can go boating on Felt Lake and watch the swaying reeds on the shore. Local residents also like to carry out various water sports on the lake, such as sailing, paragliding and so on. The autumn wind is rising and the cold is getting deeper. We can only laugh about life here and enjoy the sunset. You can also rent a bicycle around the lake at the bicycle rental company, and visit the lake area.
