Very nice little Museum
This Museum is hidden away on The top floor of the Castleford Library (3rd floor), Located in the town centre with plenty of cheap parking around. It’s Free entry & has a nice selection of exhibits, ...

Brilliant library and museum ,friendly staff informative ,also phone in school holidays to see what is going off

Worth a visit to the top floor museum - local history going back to Roman times and inclusive of recent history relating to Castleford's proud mining heritage.
Learning about the area
The exhibits are good and you can get to see how things used to be.it's nice to be able to go somewhere and not have to pay.
