Baiyun Temple

Baiyun Temple is located in Daixian County, Zhangzhou City, Shanxi Province, and was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is built on the mountain. The temple is divided into two parts. The eastern part is called Baiyun Temple, the western part is called Wenshu Temple, and the second temple is connected, so the locals call this temple Dongxi Temple. The original building was destroyed, and the buildings seen are later rebuilt. The main buildings are the Temple of Heavenly Kings, the Grand Xiong Pavilion, the Bell Tower, the Dizang Temple, the Guanyin Temple, the Wenshu Temple, etc.

Baiyun Temple as a temple building, there is nothing special, but because of the speciality of the building itself, it gives special meaning, the building is very ornamental, very good.

"East and West Temple" does not charge tickets, it is recommended to go in the morning. Located at the top of the peak of the north gate of Wutai Ancient Road, there is a poem by Qianlong Fu in front of it, and then there is Yansheng Mage practice closure. This seemingly inconspicuous temple has a long-standing reputation in the local area. From childhood, I must go to worship every year, especially the 18th event of the lunar calendar, which is very lively.

The scale is large, the layout is chic, and the environment is elegant and famous. It is listed as the first in the Shifangyuan. Baiyun Temple, the first name of Jingye Temple, was built in the early Ming Dynasty. Ming Chongxuan 13 years (1640) expanded eastward, called Qingliang Temple. At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it was newly built and renovated into the Taoist field of Nanyue, the Zen school.
