In 2008, Hangzhou decided to make the former silt reservoir a new model of the 21st century Hangzhou West Lake Ecological Park. It has multi-level wetland landscapes such as wet forests, shallow water marshes, lakes and ponds, and also provides for foraging and habitat environment for wildlife such as birds, fish, waterfowl, amphibians and other wildlife.

This park is on the south side of Yuhuang Mountain, Huyu Road, next to the Hangbang Cui Museum, and is also close to Baguatian and Baita Park, so you can play a day on a line. The park used to be a place to pile up the silt of the West Lake, and later developed into an ecological park. After the seeds of the plants in the silt germinated, a lot of aquatic plants, willow trees and so on. Later, a lot of flowers and plants were planted, tobacco, Persian chrysanthemum, German appendix... There are quite a lot of varieties.
