Refreshing place to stop and relax.
It is a good place for a simple pleasant walk combined with picnic. It is easy to park here and the place is rather quiet midday in December.
Excellent Memorial Park

Took the family to the park for some pictures. Good backgrounds and nice grounds to walk. Clean and ample parking during that time period.
The location is great for picnics, and the VIETNAM WAR MEMORIAL is very attractive to see.
This wayside provides shade and plenty of parking for picnics, family reunions, etc. I would not recommend being in the park after hours. It has a reputation unfortunately.
