This is a nice and quiet place close to Iasi's Old Center with access from Lăpușneanu Street. In church's yard are some old gravestones.

The first church on the jolt site was built in 1704 from a tree, but by the end of the century it fell into decline. In the early 19th it was rebuilt in a stone. Inserted into the list of Romania's historical monuments.
