The heavy tiled roof is impressive.
Original Text
After passing through the Niomon Gate of Sojiji Temple, you can see the main hall in front of you. The heavy tiled roof is impressive, but the main hall itself is a simple structure. The principal image is a statue of Senju Kanzeon Bodhisattva riding on a turtle. It is a secret Buddha. When I looked through the lattice window of the main hall to see you standing, I was able to worship the figure faintly in front of the dark hall. There is a Kondo on the left side of the main hall. The door of the Kondo was open and I was able to worship the seated statue of Yakushi Nyorai, the principal image.
