Beautiful hydrangea and countryside
Original Text
It is a famous temple of the Tendai sect hydrangea in Shioki City. Walk along the rice field road while looking at the hydrangea and enter the hydrangea forest. A bright red hydrangea, rare colors and shapes are planted. There were more types of hydrangeas than I had imagined. When I climbed the slope, it led to the main hall and I was able to take a break while drinking coffee. I also received a limited red stamp during the hydrangea period. You can see the rice fields while watching the hydrangea, the wind is comfortable, and it is wonderful ...
I went to see hydrangea. A 々 hydrangea flower was in full bloom on a large site like a hill. It looks great on Instagram. Free parking was also a good size, and some people were able to organize traffic. There is also a seasonal red stamp for hydrangeas, and the Shioki Ayame Festival is also held nearby at the same time, so it's a good idea to visit as a set.
This is the second time since last year. The parking lot was also available on weekday afternoons. There was also a bus parking lot, so sightseeing buses may come on weekends. On June 25th, the bank of the hydrangea was in bloom about 70%, but it was spectacular. There are few visitors and you can take a leisurely stroll. Although it is not well known to Ibaraki Prefecture people, Hydrangea Forest is a must-see spot. Only during the hydrangea season, maintenance cooperation fees are included, and the tour will finally come to the main hall according to the route.
It is said that it is a temple known as a famous hydrangea spot in Shiorai, but when I visited it, it was out of season and quiet. There is also a monument that is said to have been composed by Mitsuhiko Mito.
I found it by a friend searching the Internet. In the countryside, the colorful hydrangeas that bloom densely on the banks were spectacular. The area around the slope leading to the main hall feels like you are in a hydrangea flower garden, so is this a forest? I was impressed. I also saw a small snake hiding in the hydrangea. I was convinced that the maintenance cooperation cost of ¥ 300 for more than 10,000 hydrangeas of 100 species was reasonable. On weekday afternoons, the parking lot (free) was also vacant and I was able to appreciate it without congestion. It is recommended.
