If you have a chance to visit [Mizumaji] this year, which is the year of the year, we recommend that you do not miss the "decorative tiles (see attached photo)" of "Dragon" on the roof of [Kyodo]. It is not uncommon for "dragon" to be used as a decoration of the roof of the "outside incense burner with a roof" in the precincts of the temple, but it is rare for "dragon" to be used as the "decorative tile" of the roof of the building. I think and this dragon decorative window is magnificent and beautiful.
The mountain number is Mt. Ryukoku, the special head temple of the Tendai sect, and the principal image is the Holy Kanzeon Bodhisattva. It is the 4th of the 33 places in Shinsaigoku. There is a legend that Gyoki received the statue of Shokannon from the incarnation of the dragon, and the disease of Emperor Shomu was cured. Mizuma Railway was built for the transportation of worshipers to this Mizuma Temple, but Mizuma Station was a little far from the station and it took less than 10 minutes on foot. There was almost nothing on the way. Automobiles are recommended for summer visits. Mizuma Park in the back mountain of Mizuma Temple is ...
Transfer from Kaizuka Station on the Nankai Train to Mizuma Railway and get off at the end point. A historic temple built by Gyoki during the Nara period. There is a legend that a senjin appeared from Taki and handed the Holy Kannon Bodhisattva to Gyoki. There is no moat around the temple, so it is open.
About 10 minutes walk from Mizuma Kannon Station. A temple of the Tendai sect founded by Gyoki in 744. Commonly known as "Mizuma Kannon". The principal image is Holy Kanzeon Bosatsu. The 4th Temple in 33 places in Shinsaigoku. The temple name Mizuma was given because it is located at the confluence of the Sobahara River (Chikaki River) and the Usutani River. The current main hall was rebuilt in 1827 by Nagashin Oka, the ninth feudal lord of the Kishiwada domain. The three-storied pagoda was rebuilt in 1834 and is the only three-storied pagoda built before the Meiji era in Osaka Prefecture. On the outskirts of the precincts, it becomes a sacred place for lovers ...
A historic temple built by Gyoki Bosatsu, who was in charge of the construction of Todaiji Temple in Yamate, Kaizuka City, and the magnificent three-storied pagoda was rebuilt in 1834. The precincts are compact, but they have a historical atmosphere. There are two types of omikuji, which contains the Seven Lucky Gods and the Good luck amulet. There is a free parking lot near the temple.
