The attendant guided me firmly though it was free.
Original Text
A historical facility using the former Takigawa Elementary School. There aren't many exhibits, but the staff explained them carefully and in an easy-to-understand manner, so I was able to study the history of the island.
It seems that the exhibits were renewed last year.

We use the site of the elementary school in the back of the residential area. Excavated items such as the Joku Ruins are on display. I feel that there are a little few exhibits, but they responded very politely, such as explanations. If you add the business hours, the town staff will respond on weekdays, but on Saturdays and Sundays, the part-time job will explain.
You can learn about the island's past from the excavations on the island.

I visited on a marathon tour, and it was explained by the people in the town hall. He explained all the possibilities that can be guessed from excavations (exhibits), such as what kind of people lived in Kikaijima in the past, how they made a living, and past customs, so I deepened my understanding.
