Surprisingly Great
Very surprising place to visit. Just by chance after I was exploring the abandon railway that runs behind the museum it's self. The Lady running it took me on a tour of what they had. The Museum was a...
It is a museum that reuses the school building of an elementary school that was closed in Kikouchi Town. Admission is free, but the exhibition was more fulfilling than I had imagined. Above all, I was interested in the exhibitions related to the Esashi Line and Kanrinmaru.
Although it is not a major, it is a facility that adults and children can enjoy and study. It is a local museum that uses an elementary school that has been closed. There are plenty of materials such as the history and culture of Kikouchi and materials on the Esashi Line. Those that are said to be the inspiration of Kanrinmaru are also on display. Goods on the abolished JR Esashi Line were on display. Admission is free within walking distance from the Hokkaido Minami Trolley Railway platform. In addition to the railway, there is an exhibition about the history of Kikouchi, and you can listen to the explanations and go around the hall.
I stopped by on the way back from the trolley train. There are large squid and exhibits related to the old Esashi Line and railways, so if you like railways, you can forget the time and enjoy it. The staff 々 was very kind, and when I tried to call a taxi, he sent me to Kikonai Station and was impressed.
