Worth visiting!
We saw two exhibitions: the first was from pen to paper with interesting displays but did not mention the Chinese role in writing and printing. Good display of the fake fairies photograph story endors...
Certainly not boring as another reviewer has suggested. Great intimate gallery inside one of the university buildings. Check in advance if any exhibitions are on, great for a out of town exploration. ...

Great building and interesting exhibitions
Well worth going just to see the building (grade II listed). Galleries are of modest size but free and a good range of interesting exhibits.
