The trip to Monchique is gorgeous, not the place itself
The trip through the mountains was very beautiful but the village itself was not as nice as was described. Too crowded, no parking spaces, just a few chimneypots (that we saw in other places as well)...

We crossed the Serra de Monchique on our way from Monchique to Aljezur. There were many stunning views that we had to stop several times to take some pictures.
