The fort
The fortress is interesting from the outside, but there is nothing inside. To climb the walls you have to pay 4 euros. However, the view is incredible, and the town itself is very nice

The impressive fort is the main town of Montalcino with its high walls and towers.

Very beautiful. The large interior garden is available for free. The walk on the walls, with a view on the beautiful Val d'Orcia instead costs 4 euros. As regards the timetables the Rock is ape...
