Don't miss when in New Bedford
For viewers of the old "Moby Dick" movie it is a must do! Be sure and visit the Seamans Home as well, which is part of the museum! It onlytakes an hour or so to cover it all!

Great place to have baptisms. The minister was very down to earth. He was very friendly and creative. The interior of the Seaman,s bethel is wonderful, Staff very helpful

We visited the Seaman's Bethel while on a Park Service guided tour. Lovely history and beautifully maintained. History comes alive.
