Eight of us took the ferry to Cape Algiers and took a hike - we enjoyed the Crown and Anchorage English Bar, stopped at the Old Corner Bar (unfortunately we missed being told it was great music) and visited Rothstreet Glass Studios. The architecture and beautification of his house is interesting, and it is a great place to go in the French Quarter.
