The memorial of the victims of the disaster
Original Text
A memorial monument to the bomb victims just outside the south exit of JR Kyobashi Station. There is also a statue of "Peace, Eternity" nearby. The reason why this bombing was miserable was, after all, the day before the end of the war. I'm sorry to think that I would have been saved if I had been late to pass this place for another day.
There was a strategic bombardment of B-29 aimed at the Osaka army Arsenal in Osaka Jo castle. Four 1t bombs were dropped to Kyobashi station, but one of the flow bullets passed through the joto line platform, which was the elevated part of Kyobashi station, and fell to the KATAMACHI line platform. He hit the refugees who were in this place for evacuation from the air strike, and only 200 people who knew the name were killed, and 5 ~ 600 people were killed. Even though I had written my name on my chest for the sake of the accident, I thought that I had caused many unknown victims ...
JR Kyobashi Station South Exit. If you look at the statue of "Peace forever" in front and look to the right, you can say that this memorial monument & Nokyo Tower is right under the guard. It was during the air raid at Osaka University just before the end of the war on August 14, 1945. It is important that you never forget the war even after decades.
To that extent, go to the "Bombed Victims Memorial Monument"! It is located along the road leaving the south exit of JR Kyobashi Station on the Osaka Loop Line. On August 14, 1945, the day before the end of the war, Osaka was hit by the last major air raid. B29 made an intensive attack on the Osaka Army Arsenal in Osaka Castle, but the flow bullet fell to Kyobashi Station. It is said that 200 or 600 passengers were sacrificed by the passengers at the station. It was erected on August 14, 1947 at the memorial monument. It's a sad event.
When I was trying to go from Kyobashi Station toward Osaka Castle, I found a memorial monument near the station. It was a large memorial monument and I found it was carefully preserved. On the day before the end of the war, a ton bomb hit the nearby Jnr Kyobashi Station directly, causing many victims. At that time, there were many factories around here. I thought it was an event that should not be forgotten.
