Little Qingdao Lighthouse

Xiaoqingdao is next to the Naval Museum. After visiting the museum, turn right and turn to Xiaoqingdao Park. The park is very small. It takes less than half an hour to turn around. The lighthouse is at the highest point and can't be seen from a distance.

The lighthouse is located in the park of Qingdao, Qingdao. It is one of the landmark buildings in Qingdao. It is an important navigational aid for ships entering and leaving Jiaozhou Bay and Qingdao Bay. The lighthouse was built in 1890 and opened in 1915. It was rebuilt and remodeled many times after being destroyed. The lighthouse is16.5 meters high and the light is effective at a distance of 12 nautical miles. The lighthouse is divided into two floors, the tower is octagonal, and it is built with white marble. The original 500 mm diameter rotary bull-eye lens is replaced with a Spanish FGA-175 lamp.

Xiaoqingdao is called "Qindao", is a small island in Qingdao Bay, Qingdao city name from it. There is a long sea wall between Xiaoqingdao and the land, and the island stands a lighthouse built by the Germans in 1898, which is one of Qingdao's landmarks. Xiaoqingdao Park and the famous trestle bridge across the sea, the white lighthouse on the island has a unique charm. Because its shape is like a guqin, it is also known as "qin island".
