The jaw bones of the snail whale captured in 1973 are located in the torii gate. There was no sense of organicity so that I couldn't honestly distinguish between real bones or concrete replicas. The torii gate with whale jaw bones is on the ground, but the shrine is near the top of the hill. It's about 5 minutes up, but I'm pretty tired. It was a small shrine for that. If you don't have time, you should only visit the torii gate.

It is a shrine where you can feel the feelings of enshrining stones.

Kaido Shrine is known for its torii gate made of jaw bones of long whales, and is a building that symbolizes Arikawa, which prospered by whaling.
