A unique whale jaw bone torii
Original Text
The jaw bones of the snail whale captured in 1973 are located in the torii gate. There was no sense of organicity so that I couldn't honestly distinguish between real bones or concrete replicas. The torii gate with whale jaw bones is on the ground, but the shrine is near the top of the hill. It's about 5 minutes up, but I'm pretty tired. It was a small shrine for that. If you don't have time, you should only visit the torii gate.
It is a shrine where you can feel the feelings of enshrining stones.

There is a big whale chin bone. This is a conspicuous shrine. It is said that it was built to calm the disaster of the sea. The main shrine or stone is enshrined at the top of a small mountain. I felt that it symbolized nature.
Kaido Shrine is known for its torii gate made of jaw bones of long whales, and is a building that symbolizes Arikawa, which prospered by whaling. I tried to touch the bones of my chin, but it's pretty hard. There was a smoothness that I couldn't think of as bones. It's a famous shrine, but there is no shrine, and it's so simple that I think. Of course, there is no shrine office.
Located opposite the udon teahouse, you can walk from Arikawa Port in about 5 minutes. It seems that the torii gate is made of whale jaw bones, so please go see it.
The white torii gate and the whale jaw bones were conspicuous. I am surprised at the size of the jaw bones. It seemed that many people came to take pictures. It was hot so I didn't go up the stairs leading up.
