Footpaths in the quarry are closed permanently for health and safety reasons and the pond is now full of black water..very uninviting and toxic. Don't waste your time.!
We did a circular walk from the road near the quarry. It was around 5.5 miles and followed a loop we’d found online. The views from high up are amazing - we could see across to Pendle Hill and beyon...

Really beautiful walk with lovely scenes when you get to the top. Well signed and I highly recommend for a walk.
