Source of Minjiang River

Lijiangyuan, located in the area of Crystal Township, Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The wetland park is east-west, with the first ridge in the north and south, the bow and barling at an altitude of 4300m in the west, 32km from the "Nine Ring Road" in the east, 47km from Songpan County, 95km from Jiuzhaigou County, and 185km from Hongyuan County. The wetland park is on the east and west sides of the plateau mountain, and the middle of the valley is mainly rivers, flooded wetlands and marsh meadows. On December 25, 2019, it officially became a "National Wetland Park" through the acceptance of the pilot national wetland park by the National Forestry and Grassland Bureau in 2019.

This is the Lushan Mountains at the junction of Sichuan and Gansu. The altitude is super high of three kilometers, the snow-capped glaciers are abundant, and the air is thin. The largest tributary of the Yangtze River, the Lijiang River, originates here. The snow-capped mountains and melt water converge into a trickle, and then becomes a rushing river.

Leaving Jiuzhaigou to Gansu, passing by the Lijiangyuan, there are not many famous scenery here, but the surrounding scenery is very beautiful, basically passing by here can come and see, the grassland landscape around here is very good.

The Lijiang River, an important tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Historically, the Lijiang River was considered the source of the Yangtze River. Xu Xiake in the Ming Dynasty found out through field visits that the Jinsha River is the source of the Yangtze River. The Lijiang River traditionally originated from a branch in the south of the Lushan Mountain in Songpan County, Sichuan Province, but in fact, its western branch Dadu River is the Zhengyuan from the river. This view was confirmed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013.

From Jiuzhaigou to the Lijiang River, the altitude rises all the way, and it rises sharply to more than 3,000, so don't sleep during this period, get up and breathe deeply. It’s fun to get here. Going to the toilet, there is no canopy, a bit dirty, two yuan, and taking pictures at the source is also the same price as going to the toilet, haha. The sky here is obviously the blue sky of the plateau, there are warp, if you have more time, you can take beautiful photos here! I didn't see the source, because there are many statements about the source, the real source is not elegant, but it is only two yuan, you can go to the point!

The Lijiang River originates from the south of Jiuding Mountain in northwest Sichuan. The Lijiang River source is a must-see place from Jiuzhaigou to Jiuhuang Airport, and it is also a must-see attraction for tourists. Because it has just snowed, the top of the mountain is a vast area. If there is no such snow, the viewing value should be greatly reduced.

The Lijiangyuan is located in the must-pass place on the tourist line of Huanglong, Jiuzhai. It is not so much a scenic spot as a rest stop. It is similar to a service area. You can park, convenient, eat some roast yak beef, buy some specialties, and the stone tablets of Lijiangyuan are next to it. The plank road has been a few minutes and there is a stream next to it. I don't know if it is the source of the Lijiang River. This time I was lucky. From Jiuzhai to the source of the Lijiang River, the snow scene all the way was really beautiful.
