The pool hall in the old Iwasaki Garden was designed by Conder and is not located near the ocean room. Unlike the James I style of the ocean hall, it was designed in Swiss mountain huts, which was rare in Japan at the time. The ball room is a wooden structure as a whole, with damp-proof framed exterior walls, carved pillars, and a large roof with deep interiors all reflect its American wooden Gothic architectural style. Connected to the pavilion through the underground passage, the precious gold Tangge paper wallpaper is restored inside.
The old Iwazaki garden of the He Pavilion and the Yang Pavilion are combined into one, and the architectural style is based on the academy-style architectural model. The completion time covers an area of 550 pings, far beyond the Yang Pavilion, and its scale was prominent at the time. Today, only one hall is retained, which is used for ceremonial activities like the Yang Pavilion. The construction of the building is rumored to be the responsibility of the financial giants of the mansion of the Dahe Shiro. The murals and partitions are Japanese paintings created by Hashimoto Yabang. The Iwasaki family living space, which has been lost, is divided into north and south sides: the south has the master and wife and children's room; the north has the servant room, kitchen, affairs room, warehouse and so on.
Designed by josiah Conder , completed in Meiji 29 (1896). The decorations of the 17th century British James I period style are everywhere, and incorporate the design themes of the British Renaissance and Islamic style. The south side of the pavilion has a colonnade-style balcony, the first floor is Tuscan-style, and the second floor is decorated in the Ionian style. The other floor is seamless British Mington tiles, and the guest room is posted with valuable gold Tangge paper. Also adopted in the American, Pennsylvania country house style of Iwasaki Kumi. With its intersecting and pavilion, it is recognized as a rare building in the history of world architecture. The building itself is mainly used for the annual Iwasaki family gathering as a guesthouse for foreign friends and VIPs.
Go to Ueno Park on weekends. I visited the old Iwazaki garden and looked at the simple and boring mansion of rich people. You can't take pictures indoors, but it's very luxurious... How to say it, their home even has radiators carved! ! Iwasaki is the founder of Mitsubishi Group, in addition to Ueno's Honmachi, Tokyo's Qingcheng Garden, Liuyi Garden, and the temple ケ Tanya Garden are also his family. A house and room live in their own home, a bungalow is used to treat guests, a cabin is specially used to play billiards, and there is an underground secret road between the three buildings that can be connected. The tea room was covered with electric blankets, a small heater, sitting in the house drinking a cup of warm liquor, eating a coffee ice cream, and thinking that the 400 yen ticket was still worth it.
