Except for large camphor trees, only halls and graves
Original Text
A large camphor tree, which was also selected as the Setagaya Inscription Tree 100, stood in the center of the site. It's quite powerful. However, I couldn't find anything that looked like a temple, and the modern hall and graveyard stood out.
It's a temple with a magnificent camphor tree, so I wondered if there was a dark green precinct that I could see from a distance, so when I walked, I was surprised at the completely different image. It was a layout with camphor trees in the center of the paved parking lot, surrounded by a wall and towering modern buildings. The surrounding large buildings are also overwhelming, and the large trees are so big that all the cars in the parking lot are completely covered in the shade. I felt that the green was dark even in winter, so from spring to summer, the shade of the trees ...
From Gotokuji Station on the Odakyu Line, walk to Gotokuji Station Shopping Street toward Sangenjaya on the Tokyu Setagaya Line, about 5 minutes, and cross the third railroad crossing on the Tokyu Setagaya Line. I don't know the history of the temple, but it seems that the large camphor tree of Setagaya's 100 famous trees is famous. There is a camphor tree in front of the main gate of the temple. It's big. It was big and overwhelmed.
The temple here is the highlight of the big camphor tree. It is no exaggeration to say NO .1 even in Setagaya Ward. I didn't know if it was a sacred tree, but it seemed to be also used as a protected tree in the ward.
