We will disseminate information about "Kinreiji" in Yanaka, Taito-ku. I visited "Kinreiji" on 2023 ★ Moon ★ Day. To access "Konreiji", take Exit 1 of "Nezu Station" on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line (toward Nezu Shrine), and you will find a pedestrian crossing (signal: Nezu 1-chome) in front of you. Crossing the crossing, follow the "Kotoji Dori Street" as it is, and go straight on a gentle slope about 480 m, and there is a third signal (display name "Taninaka Rokuchome"). Turn left at the corner and ... about 100 m

It is a temple of the Tendai sect built in 1611 in Yanaka, Taito-ku. You can see many temples of the Nichiren sect in Yanaka, so temples of the Tendai sect may be rare. The precincts are also well maintained temples.

It is said that Tendai sect temple built between the intersection of Yanaka 6-chome and Misakizaka, which was founded in Kanda Kitaji-cho in 1616, was opened by the Tenkai monk. Moved to this area in the first year of Keian (1648). When I entered the precincts from the two stone pillar gates, the left side was a graveyard and I couldn't understand the main hall. It is a precinct covered with greenery of tree 々.

It is a temple covered with greenery that you can't see the main hall.

It is a temple of the Tendai sect located in Tanaka 1-chome, Taito-ku, which entered the north at the signal of Tanaka 6-chome on Komon-dori. Even if you enter the mountain gate, it is covered with greenery and you do not know where the main hall is. In addition, the stone Buddha standing in front of the left hand side of the narrow entrance to the main hall was also surrounded by greenery.
