heavy building.
Original Text
This is a building completed in 1933 on the left hand side of Nakasendo toward Nihonbashi, about 5 minutes from Kanda Station. It is still in use, and the heavy stone building has a retro appearance and is beautiful. The pair of lion statues at the entrance of the building is also wonderful.
From the south exit of JR Kanda Station, walk along the main street toward Nihonbashi, and when you enter the side, you will see a lion statue. It is a SRC stone building completed in the early Showa period. It is designated as a national registered tangible cultural property. It is sometimes referred to as the former Taiyo Shokai Building. Unfortunately, I didn't get permission to shoot at the entrance on the first floor.
The Maruishi Building is a few minutes walk from Kanda Station. It has a long history, and this building was completed in 1933, which means that it was a building that withstood air raids during the Pacific War. It has a very retro appearance and is recommended for those who like to see old buildings. It seems that it is also registered as a registered tangible cultural property.
It is a building about 5 minutes walk from Kanda Station. It is a fairly heavy stone structure that seems to have been around for a long time. It seems to be still used today.
A heavy Romanesque building is built on the side of Kanda Station. The lower part is yellow dragon stone and red dragon stone, and above it is scratch tiles. The appearance of the windows and the terracotta is amazing. The interior is not inside, but I wonder if it is a plaster wall. The Imperial Hotel of Frankdright was completed at the same time because it was completed in 1931. It's a combination of Otani stone and scratch tiles, but I wonder if the trend is the same.
