I stopped by with a disappointing cherry blossom and Toyohashi curry udon. It seems that there are some people who call it "Oze of the Tokai region", but I think that means the same as "Little Kyoto" all over the country. It's September, but when you pass through a little mountain from the lonely parking lot, you can see it and you will see an area that looks like a marsh. The ones you see at this time are "Shirata Mahoshikusa", but their presence is thin because the density is low and the flowers themselves are small.
I visited by bus in March. It was the time when flowers 々 including Sakura began to bloom, but there was nothing to see in the marsh, and since it was Sunday, volunteers 々 removed and maintained weeds in the marsh. There is a lot of nature left, and it is a fun place to take a walk in the large park. When I climbed Mt. Zadan, there were many climbers and I was able to see the sea and Lake Hamana. Due to the weather deterioration forecast, I finished my meal and left early to 々.
It is close to the city of Toyohashi, but there is no public transportation around, so I think there is only a car to access. It's not that big, and the marsh has a wooden promenade, so you can easily take a walk. Based here, a hiking course to the mountain 々 on the border of Aichi and Shizuoka Prefectures was also developed.
It is a marsh near the city. I think it is good as a hiking course, but due to the damage of birds and beasts, it was not good for plant observation because it is currently in the recovery stage. Maybe it should be completed.
It's a cherry blossom marsh, but on a sunny day, it's great for walking! This is far from the center of Toyohashi city. You can also go by bus, but it is convenient to go by car. There is also a free parking lot. There is a promenade in the marsh, so walk there. It is a marsh with abundant nature, so you can meet small animals and plants.

March was under construction.

Good for a walk from the city

About 20 from Toyohashi City
