Sorin Otomo, a warlord and a Christian daimyo during the Sengoku period, is excavated and investigated the site of Mr. Otomo's mansion in the city of Oita, and there is a statue in front of Oita station. The land of the end was Tsukumi. The current graveyard seems to have been built in the Showa period.

It is the grave of Mr. Otomo in Bungo. Since he was a Christian daimyo, a cross was drawn on the tombstone. It is said that the famous confectionery Xavier is also derived from this.

I recently learned that Tsukumi City is the end of Sorin Otomo. It is said that the forest here was the land of the Christian Church during the Sorin era. Sorin was first buried in a Christian ceremony, renovated to a Buddhist ceremony under a prohibition order during the eldest son's time, and the current tomb was further renovated during the Kansei era. The current Christian tomb was built after the Showa era. It was an interesting tomb place that tells the flow of history.
