Worsley Woods is suitable for walking all year round. I would say it may not be particularly suitable for wheelchair users because there are many steps and rugged paths in woodland. Nearby villages, village green spaces and paths by canals can be reached. The woods are not big but the environment is beautiful and features The Delph, where you can see the entrance to the underground canal tunnel system. The canals that surround the woods and through the village are worth a stroll and look at the old Tudor architecture and huts, very beautiful surroundings. There is a play area in the woods, reservoirs and small rivers and streams.
