Sugawa Onsen Shrine, which is located in Zao Onsen, is the guardian deity of hot springs. It is located on a hill near the upper bath communal bath. There is a building like a gate like a vermilion torii gate, from which you can climb a steep long stone steps. The shrine seems to be still new and beautiful. The deities are Okuninushi, Shohikona, and Susanoo. Thank you for the wonderful hot springs.
