Longcanggou national forest park is a wonderful valley in the South of Sichuan province. It's perfect for hikes and if you're lucky, you can see wild red pandas. Longcanggou is a national park and forest in the West of Sichuan's capital city Chengdu. 🌳🍁🌿 Longcanggou hike is about 8km, although you can add some extra roads and circles. If you're lucky, you can also see red pandas, the small brothers/sisters of the giant panda. There are two main attractions in Longcanggou: Tiansheng Bridge The Tiansheng Bridge is 2 kilometers long, with a circular route that can only be completed on foot, and requires a shuttle bus to go up the mountain. The circular plank path and the Tiansheng Waterfall are both incredibly photogenic. Diecui Stream It gives you the immediate sense of being in a primeval forest, with a feast of greenery for the eyes, including moss, pigeon flowers, and azaleas, visible everywhere. Along the way, you can enjoy the pleasure of foraging for wild vegetables. TIPS: 1. Some plank paths may be slippery when wet, so wear non-slip shoes 2. Be sure to protect yourself from the sun and mosquitoes 3. It's best to bring your own water and dry food.

🧭For navigation by self-driving car, enter "Longcanggou National Forest Park Parking Lot". The road conditions are very good all the way, and there are only 3-4 sharp and steep turns on the road up the mountain. There are two separate scenic areas here, one is Tianshengqiao, and the other is Diecui Stream. It is recommended to visit both scenic areas in one go, as long as you arrive at the scenic area before 11 am, there is no problem to finish both in one day (except when there is a long queue for the shuttle bus during peak season). 🙀Surprisingly, there were very few tourists coming here during this year's Spring Festival. Reference for this trip (total time spent 5.5 hours): Take the shuttle bus from the visitor center to Tianshengqiao ➡️ After getting off, walk and visit Tianshengqiao ➡️ After finishing, take the shuttle bus back to the visitor center ➡️ Then take the sightseeing bus to Diecui Stream ➡️ Walk down the mountain and visit Diecui Stream back to the visitor center. Ps: There is an even better plan that can save some time and the fare for the sightseeing bus to Diecui Stream. That is, after visiting Tianshengqiao, ask the shuttle bus driver to stop at the "Yuhua Waterfall" station on the way down the mountain, get off there, and enter directly from the interior of Diecui Stream, then walk down the mountain for about 1 hour back to the visitor center. Tianshengqiao: A circular walking scenic area, which feels more suitable for winter, especially when it snows or after snowing, the ice waterfalls inside are indeed worth checking in. Tianshengqiao can only be reached and left by the scenic area shuttle bus.
