Area with beautiful green
Original Text
It is an area where the forest centered on Shomeiji Temple spreads out. It is a place of relaxation with beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn. There are many attractions centering on the historic Shomeiji Temple.
There are forests around Shomyoji Temple, and the tombs of Hakkakudo and Mitsutoki Hojo on a hill. I climbed the stairs in the forest from the Ajigaike pond in the garden to aim for the Hakkakudo, but the stairs were very steep and there was no railing from the middle. My wife and I were confident in their feet, but I was worried about going down and turned back. It seemed that it would take a long time to climb on another route, so I gave up in the end.
It takes about 10 minutes to reach the top, but there are quite steep stairs. You need to be careful about the scaffolding. The view toward the sea was amazing.
If you go on the road on the right side of the main hall, you will find a mountain trail. The road has stairs, but you can rest assured that it is well maintained. If you go for a while, it will be a steep climb, but it feels good because you walk in the shade of a tree. It passes through Mt. Hyuga and becomes Mt. Inari, and when it reaches Mt. Kanazawa, the highest peak, there is a hakkaku Do hall and the scenery is good and it can be seen to Yokohama port. After a rest, the road is divided into two on the way, but the left is a steep staircase, so if you go down the staircase on the right, you will reach the side of the Kanazawa Bunko.
The nearest station is Kanazawa Bunko Station of Keihin Express. There is a trailhead beside the precincts of Shomeiji Temple, which is about 15 minutes walk from the east exit. If you don't get hungry at Kanazawa Bunko Station, there are no restaurants around Shomeiji Temple. It's about a sweet place that I wonder if the store is open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Don't worry if you bring your lunch. There are few benches in the precincts of Shomeiji Temple and the top of the mountain, so you can take a break. The view from the top of the mountain overlooking Tokyo Bay is wonderful. The wind is qi on the hot body ...
